Meet your Chief Instructor

Bob is Airline Transport Pilot qualified to command seven large transport aircraft including Boeing 737,757, and 767.

 

He is a Gold Seal Flight Instructor qualified to instruct single, multi-engine and instrument. Bob is also a licensed aircraft and power plant mechanic.

 

After retiring from his airline career, Bob worked as a corporate pilot for a company that built large hydroelectric dams. This involved in flying several trips around the world visiting dam sites such as the Three Gorges Dam on the Yangtze River in China. His flying took him to countries such as Russia, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, southeast Asia, India, Turkey, and most countries in Europe.

 

Bob did test flying and delivered DC-9 airliners out of overhaul shops in Central America to East African Airways in Africa.

 

USAirways used Bob as a contract 737 instructor pilot instructing domestic and foreign air carrier pilots under Part 142 of the FARs.

 

Since July of 2007 Bob has been designated by the FAA as the Chief Instructor for Moore Aviation, Inc. part 141 flight school. Moore Aviation is contracted to train student pilots for Beaver County Community College.
